About Our Farm
Growing the finest wild ginseng in harmony with nature, on the slopes of Mt. Gajisan
Our Story
Gajisan Farm began in 2005 on the slopes of Mt. Gajisan, in Samnam-eup, Ulju-gun, Ulsan, South Korea.
At 1,241m, Mt. Gajisan is the tallest peak of the Yeongnam Alps, offering clean air, pure water and rich soil — ideal conditions for growing wild ginseng.
Founder Yang Jae-cheol grows sanyangsam (mountain-cultivated ginseng) the natural way, without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Over 20 years of consistent, dedicated care have earned our ginseng its reputation for quality.
Our Philosophy

We never use chemical fertilizers or pesticides — only nature's own strength.
Hands-on care
We personally manage every step, from seed selection to harvest, to guarantee the best quality.
Trust & honesty
Honest pricing, honest quality. We value our customers' trust above all.
What is Sanyangsam?
Sanyangsam (山養蔘) is ginseng grown from wild ginseng seeds or young seedlings deep in the mountains, in a natural forest environment, with minimal human intervention.
Unlike field-cultivated ginseng, it grows slowly over many years in its natural mountain habitat, which is said to result in higher saponin content and stronger traditional benefits.
